Wow, a huge thank you is definitely in order!
The night Walton Rods launched on Kickstarter back on March 1st was one of the most tense moments of my life so far. Next to asking my wife to marry me, getting married, the birth of our son, and maybe one or two other things that ranked right up there. Thanks to you all, we were fully funded in 33 minutes!
Now, there is a lot of stuff to do before we can ship all those orders. We are still anticipating a June delivery for the rods. We’ll get everything else out before that though. In the meantime, there has been a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes.

If you didn’t see it on Instagram, we are working on developing our own reel. We are keeping with the same “classic cool” as our rods and going with a click and pawl style reel. It will have an unconditional lifetime warranty and be designed to pass down to your kids one day. We are pretty excited about it. We also have some other reel news in the future, but that’s all for now.
Otherwise, everything is going absolutley as planned and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you all again very much!
