The Avari is built for anglers who want to feel a fly rod work. Its true medium-fast action loads deeper into the blank, giving you a smooth, controlled casting stroke while maintaining the backbone needed to turn over bigger flies and fight serious fish.
 
That full-flex backbone is what defines the Avari. It isn't designed to be overly stiff or artificially fast. The rod loads naturally, lets you feel the cast develop, and delivers power progressively through the blank. Whether you're making a delicate presentation or leaning into a long cast with a streamer, the Avari stays connected and predictable.
 
The lineup includes three 9-foot, 4-piece rods:
 
5WT — The trout rod of the lineup. Light enough for dries and nymphs, with enough backbone for streamers and larger trout.
 
6WT — The versatile workhorse. Built for streamers, bass, larger trout, windy conditions, and situations where a 5wt starts running out of horsepower. Features a fighting butt.
 
8WT — The powerhouse. Built for big streamers, smallmouth, carp, steelhead, and light saltwater. Features a fighting butt.
 
The Avari has been fished from trout water out West to Midwest smallmouth, carp, gar and steelhead, and all the way to tarpon and redfish in the Gulf.
